Hey everyone,
So, we’ve turned the final page. We’ve closed the book—again. The Count of Monte Cristo has been shelved, but not without leaving its mark. You know, life gets busy. Between work, life, and all the little responsibilities that sneak into the day, finding time to read isn’t as easy as it used to be–I wrote about it today too. Back in the days when I started talking about books online, I could lose myself in a book for hours without a second thought. It was kind of a part of the journey. Now, it’s more like stealing moments—a few pages over breakfast, a chapter before bed. So, committing to rereading a massive novel like The Count of Monte Cristo felt both ambitious and a bit crazy.
But here’s the thing: once I started, I was reminded why this book is a classic. It pulled me in, just like it did years ago, and suddenly the size didn’t matter anymore. I found myself looking forward to those stolen moments, eager to dive back into Dumas’s intricate world.
This gives us a great lesson, but let’s talk about the book first.
